Fuel Cell Systems seeks an adept Hydrogen Market Development Manager to spearhead the introduction of hydrogen refueling technology into the European market, solidifying our brand as the foremost name in the burgeoning hydrogen industry.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Forge a robust client pipeline for existing and future hydrogen technologies, capitalizing on market insights and customer input to identify and pursue novel business prospects.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of customer needs and hurdles, articulating how Fuel Cell Systems' offerings can adeptly tackle them. Leverage an in-depth grasp of our products and services to deliver bespoke solutions.
  • Identify and foster strategic partnerships with pivotal stakeholders in the European hydrogen landscape, encompassing governmental bodies, industry alliances, hydrogen suppliers, and the broader hydrogen supply chain. Craft and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive the uptake of Fuel Cell Systems’ array of hydrogen technologies.
  • Champion the entire sales lifecycle, from initial outreach to finalizing deals, collaborating closely with clients and partners to furnish tailored solutions across Europe.
  • Cultivate a robust network within the hydrogen realm to stay abreast of regulatory shifts, funding avenues, and pertinent tenders, empowering proactive decision-making and strategic foresight.
  • Nourish enduring relationships with clients to ensure contentment, stimulate repeat business, and nurture enduring partnerships. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for their requirements.
  • Represent Fuel Cell Systems at prominent industry showcases, events, and conferences within the European hydrogen and mobility sectors, augmenting brand visibility and fostering valuable connections.
  • Deliver regular progress updates and reports to management utilizing CRM tools and Fuel Cell Systems' sales methodologies, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the energy or automotive markets Demonstrable knowledge of the European hydrogen market landscape, with a passion or interest in hydrogen as a new fuel for mobility .
  • Experience with marketing and strategic market positioning activities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with a strong commercial drive.
  • Networker with excellent relational skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language.  
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
